Letters from Iris

Once a month, she writes. Always by hand, in spirit if not always in ink.

Iris has been writing for a long time. Not advice. Not instructions. Letters, the kind that arrive at the right moment and say the thing you needed to hear but hadn't yet found the words for yourself.

Each letter is written once. Sent to everyone on the list at the same time. And yet women tell her, again and again, it feels as if it was written for them alone.

The letter arrives on weighted cream writing paper, folded into a midnight blue envelope, sealed with a red wax seal, and posted to your door. There is no digital version. Iris writes by post, or not at all. Places are limited. When the list is full, it closes.
